Africa‘s most valuable resource, however, is its people. The continent‘s population exceeds 1.5 billion and is projected to reach approximately 2.5 billion by 2050, making it home to one in four people worldwide. More than 60% of Africans are under the age of 25, giving the continent the youngest population in the world. This demographic advantage is increasingly supported by rising levels of education, expanding university systems, growing technical and vocational training, and a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem. Every year, millions of young professionals enter the workforce, contributing skills in engineering, technology, healthcare, finance, agriculture, and the creative industries.
